CONSCIOUS RECIPE & MENU DEVELOPER.

FOOD, ECO TRAVEL & LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER. DOCUMENTARIAN, WRITER & BLOGGER.

I am not a nutritionist or a chef, and I am not pretending to be one. I am however, a food lover. I am also a mother, and because of that and my upbringing, I am a happy conscious cook and a professional pamperer.

I was born and raised in Mexico. I grew up and lived in different Mexican cities: Puebla, Cuernavaca, DF, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Puerto Vallarta. But to make it easy to everyone, whenever people ask me where I come from, I normally say: “I am from Cuernavaca”. That is also the first thing I say when people ask where my love for delicious food and nature comes from. When I said that, I really believe that people would understand what I mean, but I understand its difficult. Cuernavaca (from the Classical Nahuatl: Cuauhnāhuac “near the woods”) is the capital and largest city of the state of Morelos in Mexico, very close to Mexico City. To me Cuernavaca, “The City of Eternal Spring” represents the Colonial, luxurious and natural aspects of Mexico. Then, I explain that I come from a family of accomplished cooks and celebration lovers. My grandmother, aunties, mother and big sister were and are the most amazing cooks. So as a result, most of my lifestyle, what I live, think, read, research, practice and preach is about and based on food, history and nature.

I am the producer of BE A CONSCIOUS TRAVELER where I coordinate and guide travel transformational experiences. I am the conscious recipe and menu developer and tester for the healing menu of these private retreats and resort centers. I have discovered that I love developing menus and that I am great at it.

On a little side note, during my Yoga & Ayurveda Lifestyle Program studies with Mas Vidal, I learned from Mas that, whatever you do the most during your day, defines who you truly are. This is when I fully, consciously realized that I am Chef, a Photographer and a Bhakti Yogi!

So as you can imagine, I keep my Mexican traditions alive by preparing my dear mother’s recipes, bringing to the table conscious healing food, a blend of Indigenous, Spanish, Mexican, a taste of Ayurvedic traditions and Raw Food in every meal. I use organic, local and non-violent ingredients that are infused with meditation, mantra chanting and spiritual music playing in the background while cooking. My Mexican-Ayurvedic Conscious Food naturally nourish, heal and detox at home and at every transformational retreat that I produce.

Currently I am completing my first Lifestyle Cookbook Novel HEALING SOUPS© while balancing motherhood.
